• Who runs the workshops and trainings?

Our principal trainer, Deborah Keep, runs the majority of the training courses. Where required, she works with fellow ABNLP accredited NLP Master Practitioners and Trainers to run a course. When needed, any additional trainers that are involved have been trained by the Tad James Company to maintain consistency and excellent standards of delivery and content.

  • How would you describe Deborah's training style?

Very practical, interactive, focussed, targetted to getting results. Less emphasis on the theory and more on the practice and the WIIFM factor (what's in it for you). Deborah is also a great believer that the best learning happens in a relaxed and enjoyable environment, so her delivery is also very friendly and lots of fun.

  • In a nutshell, what is NLP all about?

NLP does tend to have an air of mystery around it, not helped by what the name stands for - Neuro Linguistic Programming.

It is comparable to personal fitness training for your mind. It helps you tap into your natural resources to focus on what you want and therefore get the results you want in any area of life.

Through NLP, you learn more about how your mind works, and therefore how you can use it to empower yourself by controlling what goes into your mind and what you do with it once it's there.

So in a nutshell you could say NLP is a series of tools and techniques that you can use when you need them in varying circumstances as they arise.

  • Why have I never heard of NLP before?

It's a relatively new concept and although it is widely known in the motivational business world, it is not known as much on an individual level yet. It is a growing field, rapidly collecting more and more successful and incredible case studies to do with it's results, and perhaps because it is so simple and effective, people find it hard to believe that it is that easy to make such profound change within their personal and business life!

  • Why is NLP becoming so popular in business?

Awareness of the benefits of NLP is definetely on the rise as more and more people are being coached or trained in it. Business loves it because the results speak for themselves. Clients tend to see an immediate improvement in relationships with their clients, people management skills with their teams, productivity and sales results. This all comes down fundamentally to a change in the way of thinking and improving key areas such as communication skills.

  • How long can it really take someone to change a bad habit or unproductive strategy?

If you think of a bad habit, or a disempowering belief (i.e. if you have a belief that you can't sell) can you think of how long it actually took to create that belief? Generally not long at all - it may have just been one bad sales call and now it may affects your overall sales results in a negative way.

These sorts of beliefs can be crippling to productivity, and just by working with your mind and employing new ways of thinking, you can get rid of them in an instant - pretty much how long it took you to create the belief in the first place.

  • Is there ever a risk of NLP changing someone's personality?

The key thing to stress with NLP is that it is a 'do with' process rather than a 'do to' process.

Where clients change is that they become more focused and in control of their thinking, states and behaviour, because they've become aware of the tools within them and are able to get rid of any limiting beliefs they may have had about themselves. Any changes tend to be more productive, more focused and therefore happier with work and life all around.

  • What if I'm not happy with the course once I start it?

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee with our Practitioner courses. If our trainings don't meet your expectations by the end of the second day of training, we will refund your money less the standard deposit. You can leave the training course with your materials and no questions asked.
